Our History

Love Gospel Mission International was established in 2000 by Reverend Terefe Tadesse with a deep passion to reach out to Ethiopians and Eritreans residing in Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Tokyo, Malaysia, and Thailand. Through mission trips to these regions, the love of Christ was shared, and countless lives were transformed by the message of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Due to personal circumstances, Revd Tadesse had to relocate to the UK and start Grace Gospel Church in Leeds. After successfully leading and nurturing Grace Gospel Church for over 20 years, he felt a calling to reignite the mission of Love Gospel Mission International. But why restart this journey?

First and foremost, Revd Tadesse strongly believes that the Lord has led him to this ministry, with a heart overflowing with compassion for those in need. He recognizes that individuals who are facing instability and searching for love and care are often more receptive to the message of the Gospel. It is this calling to bring hope and salvation to the vulnerable that drives him to share the transformative power of the Gospel.

Furthermore, he is dedicated to assisting those who are most in need, including those who are constantly on the move or seeking a sense of stability in their lives. By offering both material and spiritual support, Love Gospel Mission International aims to positively impact lives and allow individuals to experience the unconditional love and grace of God.

Restarting Love Gospel Mission International is not merely a desire but a necessary step in fulfilling this calling and bringing hope and healing to those who require it the most.

At Love Gospel Mission International, our vision is to create a world where every person has the opportunity to encounter the love and grace of God and experience the transformative power of the Gospel. Our mission is to share the Gospel with those in need, providing both material and spiritual assistance to individuals who are struggling.

Our primary goal is to expand our ministry and reach as many people as possible, both within our local community and abroad. We aim to establish partnerships with like-minded organizations and churches to amplify our impact and better serve those in need. Additionally, we aspire to provide resources and support to individuals and families as they strive to build stable and fulfilling lives. Ultimately, our purpose is to witness lives transformed by the power of the Gospel, bringing glory to God through our work.

Our target population includes individuals and families who are struggling with various circumstances, seeking stability, and longing for love and care. Through one-on-one evangelism, attentive listening, and understanding their unique needs, we can offer practical support and share the message of hope found in the Gospel.

Love Gospel Mission International also plans to work in Ethiopia, focusing on supporting disadvantaged children and their education. By empowering these children with resources and support, we can break the cycle of poverty and contribute to a brighter future for them.

Looking ahead, our ambition is to become an international ministry, reaching Ethiopians and Eritreans worldwide. We aim to expand our reach in Asia, particularly in South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, where significant populations of Ethiopians and Eritreans reside. Additionally, we aspire to extend our ministry to countries in the Arab world, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates, where there is a great need for the Gospel.
