From the Heart of Compassion: Love Gospel Mission’s 1000-Mile Journey to Europe
As we gear up for our upcoming mission trip, Love Gospel Mission International is embarking on a remarkable endeavour that will span over 1000 miles, touching the lives of countless individuals in Europe. From October 15th to 22nd, 2023, our team will traverse the road to Calais, France, and Belgium.
Driving across over 1000 miles is no small feat, and it underscores the dedication and commitment of Rev. Terefe Tadesse and our team. This remarkable journey is a testament to our belief in the transformative power of love and faith, and our unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those who need it most.
This Mission Holds the Promise of Hope, Love, and Transformation!
Our mission is deeply rooted in compassion and understanding. Upon our arrival in Calais, our first mission is to assess the situations of migrants residing in tents across various locations. We immerse ourselves in their lives, sitting down to understand their needs and queries. This is a testament to our unwavering commitment to making a positive impact.

Every Encounter, a Moment of Joy:
Food is often the immediate and pressing need for many migrants, and we waste no time in addressing it. After assessing their situation, we head out for grocery shopping at local supermarkets. What follows is a heart-warming experience; migrants, along with us, come together to cook and share a meal. This shared moment, filled with conversations, laughter, and understanding, fosters connections and restores hope.

Our commitment extends beyond food; we also address the need for clothing. Whether through donated items from the UK or purchases made on-site, we ensure that migrants have access to warm and comfortable clothing.
Every encounter with us is a moment of surprise and joy for the migrants. Our unwavering commitment, helping hands, and warm hearts make a profound difference in their lives.
A Collective Endeavour:
We invite you to stand with us in this mission. Your support is invaluable, and it should be an act of free will and happiness. The work of the Gospel is a collective endeavour, and it brings not only relief to those in need but also blessings to those who participate.
The encounter with the migrants in Calais and Belgium is a reminder of the transformative impact of our work. We are committed to making a difference in the lives of the marginalized, the forgotten, and the suffering. Together, we can continue spreading the love and hope of Christ.
May the Lord’s blessings be upon you and your loved ones as we strive to make a positive impact. Thank you for your unwavering support and compassion.
With heartfelt gratitude and warm regards,
Rev. Terefe Tadesse
